Saying Good-Bye to the Trout!
We really lucked out on the day we took our trout to the river... the sun was out and it wasn't too cold! (The other bonus was the great playground at the park!) We took turns scooping out a little fry and sending it off into Blue Lake.
While we waited for our turn to release the fish, we went on a nature hunt and ate our lunch. It was a very fun day!

Rewind...
to 100s Day!
We drew what we thought we would look like when we were 100, and what we'd be doing:
We also built marshmallow structures. Each group got 100 marshmallows and 100 toothpicks... the object of the project was to use teamwork to build a structure that would stand. Who could build the tallest tower?

They may not be tall... but they are very creative!

Mini Water Cycle
After learning about how water *rotates* through a cycle, we made began our own science investigation... we created a mini water cycle! We filled our cups with water, and put them in a baggie on the window. We think the water might evaporate and maybe create clouds??
